The 30-second story
Most cosmetic labels are written in a language no one reads. We built {brandName} so you don't have to. Point your camera, paste an INCI list, or type a product name — and watch the label translate itself into something you actually understand.

Snap the back of any cosmetic product, paste the ingredient list straight from a brand's website, or type a product name to pull a known formula. The interface is the same on phone and desktop, and nothing is ever uploaded before you confirm.

Optical character recognition reads the label. A language model cleans up the result.
First, OCR pulls raw text from your photo. Then a language model interprets it — separating CI numbers from botanical names, normalising INCI spelling, and flagging anything it isn't sure about so you can correct it before the analysis runs.
Tricky labels — small print, multiple languages stacked on one panel, partially obscured ingredients — are exactly what this step is built for.
Each ingredient is checked against public scientific and regulatory sources.
Every entry is matched against safety profiles drawn from EU CosIng, the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review, EWG Skin Deep, and peer-reviewed dermatological and toxicological literature. We aggregate consensus, not opinion.
When sources disagree, we surface that disagreement instead of hiding it behind a single number. Honest uncertainty beats false confidence.

Every score we publish traces back to public regulatory sources — EU CosIng, EU SCCS opinions, CIR safety assessments, EWG Skin Deep — or peer-reviewed studies. We cite sources on every ingredient page.
Some ingredients have decades of safety data. Others have almost none. We never invent certainty where the science is thin — those entries are flagged so you can decide for yourself.
Your scans and photos are never sold, shared, or used to train third-party models. Saving a product to the public database is opt-in, anonymous, and reversible at any time.
No paywall hides the good stuff. No "unlock full report" button. The complete analysis — every ingredient, every source, every score — is free for everyone, forever.
